GHOST I100. A jet interceptor for the fast threat class.
Development programmeThe GHOST I100 is a turbine powered interceptor in development against fast one way attack drones, including the jet driven variants that current systems struggle to reach. Design speed is above 600 km/h over a range of about thirty kilometres, with an AI held target lock in the terminal phase and a booster launch container.

Role in the GHOST family
The I100 covers the fast end of the threat spectrum. Attack drones have moved from propeller speeds into the jet class, and a defence built only on slow interceptors no longer reaches them. The I100 is the layer above the Thorn, commanded from the same station.
Standards and interfaces
Launched from a container, no runway required. Terminal guidance runs on board. Commanded through the GHOST GCS together with the Thorn, so the operator picks the effector that fits the target.
Questions
What does the GHOST I100 intercept?
The GHOST I100 is designed against fast one way attack drones, including the jet driven variants that slower interceptors cannot reach. Design speed is above 600 kilometres per hour over a range of about thirty kilometres.
Why a turbine instead of a propeller?
Because the target class has become fast. A propeller driven interceptor cannot close on an attack drone travelling at jet speeds, so the I100 uses turbine propulsion and a booster launch.
How does the I100 relate to the Thorn?
They are two layers of one system. The Thorn is spent in numbers against slower targets, the I100 is committed against fast, high value targets, and one operator commands both from the same ground station.
