GHOST L100. VTOL loitering munition with human in the loop.
In qualificationThe GHOST L100 is a vertical take off loitering munition of the 3.5 kg class with a thirty minute loiter time and a 0.5 kg class effect section. Arming is two stage and every engagement requires a human decision, which is enforced in the architecture rather than configured in software.

Key facts
VTOL, class below 4 kg
Loiter about half an hour
Two stage arming, human decision
*Subject to change.
Role in the GHOST family
The L100 is the precision end of the family. Where the Thorn is spent in numbers, the L100 is committed once, against a target that has been identified and confirmed. It takes off vertically, so it needs no launcher and no prepared site.
Standards and interfaces
Two stage safe and arm. Human decision required for every engagement, enforced in the architecture. EW resilient encrypted datalink. Commanded through the GHOST GCS.
Questions
What is the GHOST L100?
The GHOST L100 is a vertical take off loitering munition of the 3.5 kg class. It loiters for thirty minutes over the target area, transmits its picture to the operator and is committed only on a human decision.
Does the L100 need a launcher?
No. The GHOST L100 takes off vertically from any unprepared surface, which is what allows a small team to operate it without vehicles or a prepared site.
How is unintended engagement prevented?
Arming is two stage and an engagement requires a human decision that the system architecture enforces. The operator keeps the picture until the last moment and can break off.
